Joy McKenzie

I am a self-taught digital artist. I also received training in photography at the New England School of Photography and am an alumnus of Massachusetts College of Art. My kaleidoscopes can also be seen on YouTube in videos set to original music here:

I think my love of the mandalas, kaleidoscopes, and symmetrical digital drawings comes from my this thing about having things at right angles and 'even out' all the time. I'm a Virgo too, so it's a two-pronged blessing/curse.

I'm kind of a geek as far as computers go, so I really enjoy being able to create on the computer and come up with what I feel are quite beautiful symmetrical works. As I work with the mandalas, I never know exactly what the end product will look like...so it's always a surprise!

My work is suitable for meditation and also as a colorful addition to any living or work space. I'm open to discussing custom-made mandalas and kaleidoscopes for your personal space, so just email me if you have questions.
