I am fascinated by the magic of the human figure and awed by the wonders of nature, illustrating the interplay of mankind and nature in my paintings, reconciling humanity to the environment, and exploring interpersonal relationships; delighting in oil painting, exploring styles ranging from the symbolic, such as Romantic and Magic Realism to Contemporary Realism with an edge. My predilection is Figurative allegory in thought provoking settings that evoke a sense of Classicism and playful surrealism that has been likened to Salvador Dali. My paintings are collected world wide and have been displayed at museums such as the Haggin in Stockton, CA numerous galleries in Northern California.
Photography is the lens through which I share our magnificent natural world, one shot at a time. Landscapes, waterscapes, trees and boulders are some of the fascinating themes that populate my portfolio: enjoy!
