Julia Bridget Hayes is a South African born iconographer and photographer living in Athens, Greece. She is also currently doing her doctorate on 'The icon as liturgical art: Liturgical time in the icon' at the Department of Social Theology at the University of Athens and studying under master iconographer George Kordis. Her hand-painted icons are in churches and private collections in Greece, South Africa, Russia, Ukraine, Finland, USA, Indonesia and Argentina and have also been published in the Easter/Greek Orthodox Bible (www.orthodox-church.info/eob/).
Julia also accepts commissions for hand-painted icons of Orthodox Saints and feasts etc.
