Julia Hiebaum was born in Vienna, Austria, and as a teenager moved to Milan, Italy, with her family.
Working in various fields of fashion for over twenty years in Milan, instilled a growing sense of perfectionism in esthetics, design and composition. Her extensive professional and personal travels have deepened her insightful perspective of the ever-changing interplay between man and his environment.
Photography consequently became a passion and natural extension of her innate contemplative approach to capturing the resplendence of the ongoing lifecycle of nature’s elements. Her innate curiosity, sense of aesthetics combined with her multicultural upbringing led her to exploring the naturally occurring wonder of life’s simple manifestations.
Julia recently moved to California and lives in the San Diego area with her husband.
