Julianne Felton

Julianne has painted and exhibited her work for the past 26 years. Her paintings and watercolors have earned many awards which are listed at www.artistjf.com.

'Born and raised in Maryland, I relocated to Daytona Beach and have resided in the area for the past 38 years. The beach, warmth, and subtropical beauty of Florida have provided much of the inspiration, color, and content in my paintings. My original paintings are included in public, private, and corporate art collections such as: the City of Port Orange Art, the City of New Smyrna Beach, Sun Trust Bank, Bank of America, Orlando Aviation Authority, and others, both public and private.

I enjoyed the years of travel and the experience of exhibiting my paintings at many outdoor art festivals and museum shows in Florida, Alabama, Virginia, Georgia, Chicago, Maryland, and California. The process of showing my work enabled me to connect with and glean valuable insight from many other artists.

My paintings are come from a place within; a combination of inspiring memories, composition, and color. I may have a specific idea in mind at the start but I always end up going where the painting takes me.

I'm always working on new paintings and photograph them for the web. Recently, I starting posting some of my photographs of landscapes and nature still life arrangements as well. I enjoy capturing an interesting subject with the camera.
