Kae started off with SLRs, but has fully embraced the digital era. She has designed web sites and has done photo restoration work. She also designs book covers and does book layout for print and e-books (see the gallery). Digital painting and graphic art techniques are applied to many of her photos; she says, 'it is absolutely fun, but I don't feel a need to use it on everything.' Her photos have been used in national and international publications, including American Cowboy, Royal Wings, Bloodlines, and Pro Rodeo World (along with her articles), and have been included as illustrations in several books.
The Art Scene, in Dillon Montana, features a selection of her work, and she displays her images at various regional art shows in the Northern Rockies.

This is one of my largest galleries, because it represents what I enjoy the most after I've taken a photo. I find the post-process work challenging and rewarding as I enhance, reconstruct and digitally paint the images.
These images have been augmented with graphic arts and/or digital painting. All started with my original photographs. I have then enhanced them using a variety of software programs--whatever suits my fancy--the way any artist chooses a medium, brush, stroke, color, etc. Some have changed a lot; some not so much; a few are several images blended. When I only add decorative borders, minimal enhancement, I don't put it in this gallery. The FAA description of many will have information about what has been done to get the final image. See the before and after of many of them at
