Kae started off with SLRs, but has fully embraced the digital era. She has designed web sites and has done photo restoration work. She also designs book covers and does book layout for print and e-books (see the gallery). Digital painting and graphic art techniques are applied to many of her photos; she says, 'it is absolutely fun, but I don't feel a need to use it on everything.'
Kae's photos have been used in national and international publications, including _American Cowboy_, _Royal Wings_, _Bloodlines__, and Pro Rodeo World_ (along with her articles), and have been included as illustrations in several books.
Kae Cheatham's images are not in the public domain. The contents of her galleries may not be reproduced, copied, edited, published, transmitted, borrowed, duplicated, printed, downloaded, or uploaded in any way without her express written permission. This includes downloading for desktop wallpaper.

I like the drama of Black and white images. When I began photography, I had my own darkroom for BW, and enjoyed the techniques and possibilities. The new digital "labs" also offer opportunities for BW drama.
