Karen Geiger lives and works in Burlington, Vermont, and has shown at a number of venues and festivals since 2002. Born in Ithaca, New York, she is also an active curator. Trained at the University of Vermont is studio art and art history, she works in multiple mediums of acrylic paint, photography, installations, and drawing. She has been reviewed in Seven Days, local art and culture zine, being called a great painter. A decidedly feminist artist, her work incorporates the human figure in an expressive and autobiographical manner.
