Hi! I was born in Ohio in the 60's to wonderful parents and one older brother who welcomed me into this world with open arms. In the 70's as I was just entering into pre teen years my parents were getting the itch to move and adventure away from the 'big city life'. Mom had a cousin in SE Alaska so that is where we moved when I was 12 going on 13. It was one of the best moves ever. What an adventure my parents made it! They purchased 5 acres of land, our family of 4 designed and built our new spot in the woods of Alaska in a town of Haines, just 1,500 people with the only way in or out by plane or ferry. Our house was an octagon house with a wood stove in the middle for central heating. It still stands to this day with a new roof. My love for Alaska stuck forever in my heart. After living down south in the big city for 27 years I returned in 2011. I have two beautiful grown boys and 3 lovely well adjusted happy grandchildren. Life is good. Early on in life I was always interested in photography but never really developed it. Not until I returned to Alaska did I pick up a camera and have not been able to put it down! I look forward to my journey going forward.
