I love the beauty to be found in every day life. And I'm blessed to live in an area that's like a picture postcard. My husband and I spend many weekends exploring the back country as well as taking scenic drives around the region, and I chronicle our adventures with pictures.
In additional to standard photography, I create digital paintings from my photos, called Paintography.
Married to Steve, the husband of my life, since 1987; we live in a small mountain town, Dillon, in Summit County, Colorado, along with two cats and an adventurous teddy bear (see the 'Jackson Gone Wild' gallery).
I'm a mountain girl, nature lover, semi-carnivorous vegetarian, and athletic work in progress. I love good food, good wine, and good whiskey. And cheese - I've never met a cheese I didn't like.
Currently, I use a Canon PowerShot SX230-HS camera. Basically, it's a 'point-and-shoot' with 14x optical and 56x digital zoom built in.
