I want to communicate, through an image,the phenomenal beauty of this world in which we live. My art is deeply personal of who I am, and a reflection of what has strong meaning to me, and what shapes me as a person----Therefore I pay homage to those things through art.
I feel our natural world and people in it are of supreme importance, and tied directly to the extent to which the human spirit may flourish.
Balance between the needs of people and the needs of nature, is key. My work is an attempt to capture moments of life, people, & wonderous creatures of this earth. If the viewer is somehow moved by my work, in a similar way to which I am moved by the subject I have rendered, then my art is a success. My ambition is that he or she will pause, in a moment, where they feel their spirit rise in absolute celebration of all aspects of the incredible world we live....it's incredible diversity, beauty, struggle, triumph, and ultimately------majesty!
