Kate Garibaldi is an award winning travel and nature photographer, educator and author dedicated to the awareness and conservation of endangered species and habitats. Most recently she was recognized with a Photo District News Duggal Image Maker Award “The Environment” for her work in Grand Teton National Park. Kate’s photography continues to bring her around the globe as she seeks to highlight the plight of rare and migratory species. She recently returned from Iceland where she chronicled the plight of the vanishing Atlantic puffin colonies. Another recent project on the Owls of North America brought Kate north into Canada during a blizzard and has been highly acclaimed and awarded. When she is not working on assignment, Kate teaches photography workshops to share her love and knowledge of wild life and wild places.
