Technology has changed everything, including the creative arts. Today, everyone is a photographer because of digital cameras. Prices have dropped so much on digital single-lens reflex cameras that even snapshot-only types are carting their equipment to family picnics. It’s hard these days to capture something different or produce a shot that makes someone say, “Wow!” It’s even harder when you use an inexpensive point-and-shoot camera, like I do.
Though I’m limited in many ways with my 'little toy,' as I call it, in many other ways, my camera fits how I see the world ... askew. For that reason, I've decided to try my hand at offering my particular view of the world. I’m not a professional photographer, and I won’t claim to be the most technically proficient person in the world. But the wonderful thing about this form of artistic expression is that there’s always room for for one more angle that no one else sees. Originality is still possible however you choose to shoot the world. I hope you enjoy my view askew. So many people offer their photographic work, that I appreciate you found my spot in this humongous universe. If you buy something, that’s a big bonus. In any case, thanks for stopping to see what I see of the sights and scenes around me.
