Kathryn Barry, PhD, has had an avid interest in the arts since childhood. As a young adult, she studied art history at the Sorbonne; the course included after-hour seminars in The Louvre galleries. She went on to become a high school teacher of math and biology for special-ed teens. On the side, Kathryn restored and renovated/landscaped old homes of architectural interest in the Blue Ridge Mtns of VA, Catalan Spain, NY, NH, VT and FL.
