Kelly Walker's abstract paintings reflect the techniques, textures, and patterns she employs as a professional decorative painter. She enjoys equally her professional and personal practice. The first challenges her to manipulate paint to meet her client's needs while the second allows her the freedom to push the boundaries of the medium.

Walker founded Baltimore Artstar, a custom painting company that provides decorative and faux painting for residential and commercial customers. Her Baltimore based clients include Common Ground, Mud & Metal, Village Square Cafe, Pazo, Chingale, Petit Louis Bistro, and Spirit's Tavern.

Her artwork has been featured at numerous venues in and around Baltimore, including Goucher College, James L. Pierce Framing Gallery, Patrick Sutton Home, and Silo Point. Currently her work is being exhibited at NV Salon Collective and the RItz Carlton Residences.
