I can't remember a time when I didn't like to draw. I remember watching Disney movies in awe and wonder when I was told that someone drew all of those dancing characters. For years now, my sketchbook has been my trademark.
In seventh grade, I fell in love with writing, and found that drawing was an integral part in telling my story. That year, I wrote a seventy-five page fairy tale for an assignment, and through my sketches and drawings that were part of the assignment, I discovered my characters.
I am mostly self-taught. I had a year of art class in high school, but that's pretty much all of the formal art training I've had.
I love to experiment with different styles and mediums, and with every piece I do, I try to learn and grow.
