Fine Artist, Kevin Montanaro
The work of Kevin Montanaro is stunningly complex and realistic, focused on the foundations of the line and the life that can be breathed into it when manipulated correctly. Because of this strong attention to minute detail the artist feels the work develops a soul of its own, its own mood and emotion that is conveyed to and enhanced by the individual viewer.
Originally from upstate New York and now residing in Vermont, Kevin has spent many years honing his craft and experimenting with several media and methods. Acutely interested in the development of process, Kevin has worked in painting and illustration, sculpture and photography, drafting and graphic design, and has applied his findings to every new work he creates.
Kevin's paintings and illustrations have appeared in various small-press newspapers and magazines, t-shirt designs and posters, CD art, postcards, decals and even comic books and product packaging.
