Thank you for your interest in my work. I am a self-taught artist who first stumbled upon painting in 2008 when I took a long break from my work as a telecom engineer. At that point, I realized how liberating art creation can be, and since that moment I began living my dream. I'm now a full-time artist and couldn't be any happier.

Starting out from the craft of realism, my work has evolved into its own kind of oriental impressionism, with occasional hints of art nouveau. Nowadays I experiment with more media like sand, gel and resin. I still use oil and acrylic of course.

I enjoy hiding a bit of irony and contradiction in my work. I hope you appreciate those little surprises...

The sights, sounds and scents of my native Malaysia are alive under my skin, and I have taken them to the charming Dutch town of Harderwijk - the home of my heart.
