I was born in 1985 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to an Egyptian (naturalized American) father and American mother. I grew up nomadically traveling between the U.S. and the Middle East, finally settling in California, where I completed a BA in Fine Art and MA in Islamic Studies from UCLA. I now live and work in Los Angeles, CA. I have shown in numerous art galleries and cultural centers in California, and am a designer for the urban apparel brand, Revolutionary Me.
