I consider myself a self taught artist, even though I did take art clases for two consecutive years. I have painted in acrylic since graduating from high school, but just recently picked up the paint brush again after a 10 year break due to raising my son. I just didn't have the time to continue my artwork while he was very young. I like experimenting with a lot of different mediums, but find myself favoriting acrylic paint and graphite pencil. I also love photography, and living in Middle Tennessee there are plenty of beautiful places to photograph I find. I also enjoy trying my hand at watercolor, although not very often. Jewelry is also a passion of mine as well and I use stones in my creations, such as jade, jasper, turquiose, etc. Although the jewelry will not be listed on here, I plan to list those on another website soon and I will post a link to it here once it's complete.
