The essence of my work comes from walking through life with the eyes of an artist. When people see my art, they can see what I see. I visually connect for them the natural relationship between music and art. Inspired by the golden ratio, I discovered the same principles behind 3+5=8 are the same ones that make red + blue = purple, musical notes to create harmonic chords and compositions to feel balanced. I arrange musical shapes using paint the way a musician arranges instruments with colorful notes. I try and capture the sparkle of something that left me awestruck and duplicate that feeling for the viewer while leaving room for their interpretation based their own experiences.
