My name is Kymberly Miller. Art is my true passion. At a young age I thought of art as just a hobby, but quickly learned art was something I wanted to incorporate into my life and career. I have grown my business as an artist with my “picture in a picture” style portrait painting, as well as many other styles. A large part of my work has proven to be commissioned art work.
As an artist I am inspired by the pictures taken of individuals that embrace feeling and individuality. Many of my paintings are pictures within pictures to enhance the idea of an individual within the individual. I am enhancing the smaller picture through detail and emphasizing the idea of the larger picture as blocked, as the individual. I am attempting to create a view of the individual that enhances the smaller overall picture of the person; the larger framed individual represents what the person may perceive to the world while the smaller picture is the entire person uninhibited. I am bringing to the viewer’s attention the aesthetics of individuality and the hidden detail within, while surrounded by the exterior of the person.
I am a dedicated artist and want my work to portray that characteristic.
