I'm a nature photographer who lives in Rochester, Minnesota. My work includes landscapes, wildlife and macros. Although many of my images focus on my home state, particularly the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and Lake Superior Northshore, I do have many photos from places such as Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and Grand Canyon National Parks, the Black Hills and Badlands of South Dakota, and the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming. I have been actively selling my images since 1998.

My work has been published in Sports Illustrated, Canoeroots, Canoe & Kayak, Paddler and The Boundary Waters Journal magazines. My photos appear on the covers of the latest edition of the popular 'Beymer' guidebooks to the Boundary Waters. I have published 2 photography books: 'The Boundary Waters Through the Seasons' and 'On Trail With Nibi Mocs, Volume 1'.
