Getting my feet off the ground. Wish they would have had this out years ago.
First things first. Born and raised near Grande Prairie, Alberta in the small hamlet of Clairmont.
My passion has always been to draw... Coloring book, crayons and lots of paper.
Until a few years ago now, I had given up on drawing. My eldest sister Jane Serr sent me a set
of charcoal and colored paper to draw on.
Now, I have a daughter of my own, with a hunger for art as big as my own. Her interst is what's
spurring me on today.
I work at a seniors lodge in Falher, Alberta. Couldn't ask for better people. Their enthusiasm to
see what I'm going to draw next has given me the push needed. They were there to help me heal
when my Father past away. They walked beside me when my Mother joined them, brightened
their world and then past away. It is their encouragement and the focus of my daughter
Jessica Dumont's artistry that I wish to give this website a try.
Thank you for the opportunity.
Good luck to you Jessica and see you on our first public display.
