I have been creating for many years.

My Little Women series is comprised of introspective works that describe my human state. My imagery is contemporary, illustrative, and characterised by humour, mischief and a dark undercurrent . Thematically, I enjoy exploring the juxtaposition of innocence with evil, vulnerability with defiance. My Little Women are travellers on the journey of life. Symbolism underpins my work as animals and colours reveal the subconscious source of the artworks.

Then there's Stella! Stella is a great friend of mine. She is everywoman in a Mona Lisa kind of way. She is perfect and imperfect at the same time. I created Stella naked and free of hair to preserve her freedom to be whom ever she wishes. She is not defined by her clothes, her hair style, her religion, race, or status. She is unbranded and fits in every pigeon hole and none. She just is. Stella rejects the beauty myth and embraces a more human, kinder portrayal of feminine worth. Without our clothes and our masks, we are all as naked, imperfect and perfect as Stella. Watching Stella is like knowing every thing we know about ourselves including some of the stuff we don't want everyone else to know. I don't think she realises she's naked. She seems somewhat oblivious, unaffected, cocooned by her own forcefield of uniqueness. Comments are welcome. She'll be intrigued .....

My animal art is an exploration of the universe of unconditional love and self acceptance one finds in the eyes of an animal.

My work has achieved recognition in the form of prizes and commendations and I have pieces in notable and celebrity collections. I have sold work nationally and internationally.

All of my work is protected by Australian and international copyright law.
