Ever since she was a young girl, Linda Medders-Jackson was convinced that she would become a animal artist. 'I was 15 years old when I sold my first painting, a mallard drake', she recalls. 'That same year I also won my first ribbons at a local art show.'
Since then Linda has went on to win many Best of Shows and Peoples Choice Awards portraying the animals she so loves. Her work has been exhibited all across the United States and in Great Britain. Through donations of her art to the Swamp Fox Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation she has also helped revive the once dwindling turkey populations in the Carolina Lowcountry.
Linda has served as the President of the Goose Creek Artists Guild many times and is an exhibiting member of five local art guilds as well as the Equine Art Guild and the Canine Art Guild.
