An award winning artist, Linda Riesenberg Fisler started her art journey in 1990. Linda has been personally mentored by nationally known artists: Kevin Macpherson, Joe Anna Arnett and George Gallo. Each mentor’s strength has provided an excellent foundation to Linda’s artwork.
Linda has a natural talent for teaching and instructing and does so at F+W Media's Artist Network University, Artist Mentors Online and also at the Middletown Arts Center. Her experience with her mentors and in the corporate career has prepared her extremely well for her love of teaching the world of oil painting to those interested in exploring the world of art. She has taught a number of beginning workshops as well. She enjoys watching her students grow their technique and develop their styles through her personal and nurturing instruction.
Linda is also the writer, host, director and producer of an internationally popular Blog Talk Radio show called AMO (Artist Mentors Online) Art Chat. This internet radio show interviews the master artists of today. The show focuses on providing artists with instruction and advice on art skills and improving their art. The show is the 2nd most popular art talk show on Blog Talk Radio reaching over 150,000 listeners worldwide.
Linda is a published author, having articles published in two nationally/internationally distributed art magazines. American Artist’s Plein Air Painting Spring 2011 Issue included Linda’s featured article, “Passport & Palette, Painting En Plein Air Around the World”. She was also published in The Artist’s Magazine’s May and July/August Issues where she wrote two business articles. Additional articles have appeared in The Artist’s Magazine in 2012 and also in photography and art marketing books. Linda also writes an article called 'Demystifying Art' for an electronic magazine called Think MIddletown as well as writing her own blog on her website.
