A typical piece of her distinctive artwork is a fusion and blending of imagination, color, light, hand painting and the captured image. A typical piece journeys a winding path of multi-layered enhancements. As the process of stylizing evolves, she shapes, molds, and tailors the subject matter to achieve her desired vision, often implementing so many layers of subtle effects that it would actually be impossible to replicate the finished piece, even for the artist herself.
Her favorite subjects are local businesses, anything colorful, interesting things that are very small and nature.
Lisa owns and operates the Redfern Studio - a successful and longstanding portrait studio located in Grass Valley, CA. Lisa's repertoire also includes comerical & fine art, writing and illustration, small business coaching, web video production, and WordPress website set up.
