‘My work is dedicated to natural elements through color. My lines are the backbone of my design. They are structural, define forms, and evoke emotions. I use high intensity colors to generate brilliance, energy and contrast.’
Her interest in art and painting began while she was attending architectural school in Moscow, where she took many drawing and painting classes. After graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture degree she worked as a design architect where she used her knowledge and artistic talent in her projects as a professional architect. Years later, she began working in the Musical Theater as a designer.
In 1994 LizTa immigrated to USA, CA. She was successful in her ventures but she found the work was not as gratifying as expressing her own ideas on canvas. Lizta began painting again. She was returning to the freedom she had found with her palette of watercolor, pastel, acrylic, oil colors.
Working from her home studio, where she can be a mom, a daughter and an artist, she draws from her experience in design to give balance and consistency to her paintings which cover many different art styles such as contemporary, traditional, landscapes and abstract.
LizTa’s Fine Art is a reflection of her soul, where the violation of its canons (“Rules”) conveys the image that combines modern person with inspiring life and its actual beauty. She attempts to connect the traditions of past and present, taking pleasure from this experiment to find her multifaceted world of color, tone, form and philosophy.
Each of the paintings is full of emotions, feelings, passion, harmony, love and beauty. There's a peace of her heart in each of them, which expresses Lizta’s individuality.
LizTa is known for the impressions she makes in her paintings by meticulously ‘carving’ her visions into the paint. The technique, which was created by LizTa, gives her paintings an organic, fossilized look.
