Lois Getz Mountz owns and operates Mountz Gallery at her home in Salem, Ohio. She has shown her works throughout the Ohio area for many years and has participated at prestigious shows from Virginia Beach, Va to Florida. Lois has won numerous awards through the years and has had many one-woman shows as well. She works in all painting media, but especially loves watercolors and oils. Most of her works are realistic but she has also painted many more contemporary 'scapes'. She and her husband, Ken, no longer travel to shows, but now operate their gallery instead. They have done custom framing for many years, sell many beautiful gift items as well as musical folk instruments. Lois plays hammered dulcimer and is also a church organist. She composes poetry and music. Lois will take commissions on paintings, working from your photos. She has painted a number of homes for her clients, and would be happy to do yours for you.
