It was in the spring of 2009 I discovered my calling as a photographer. Up to that point, I had spent my life searching, yet unsure exactly what I was searching for.
I began to plot a future that revolved around photography and my other love, travel. It took several years and many sacrifices, but in the fall of 2014 I began an adventure that I hope will continue the rest of my days. 'Downsizing' is an understatement for what I did. I gave up a regular job, a large house, and the majority of everything I had accumulated in my fifty-something years of life and moved into a twenty-nine foot motorhome. My home now is wherever I am parked at the moment, and it changes from month to month. Sometimes from day to day. I have only begun to see the wonders of this country and have barely scratched the surface of a long list of places I would like to visit. Each sunrise brings a possibility for new experiences and sights. And each sunset promises only a rest until tomorrow's adventure.
'Living the dream' is more than just a cliche now, it's real. And if it's a dream, I hope I never wake. All proceeds from purchases of my photographs directly fund the continuation of this vagabond photography gig, so if you see something you like, I hope you will consider hanging it in your home or office. Thanks for your support!
