Loretta West - Fine Artist

A vast experience of people and places has taught Loretta to be a keen observer of life. She was born and raised in northern Canada and has also lived in Toronto and New England, and presently resides in Eastern Washington. Loretta is influenced by her travels in the U.S., Canada and Europe. She studied art early on at a northern college and then pursued a completely unrelated career until moving East, where she took up the brush again to express what she saw and felt.
While being primarily self taught, Loretta is grateful of the tutelage she has received by instructors both at the Sharon Art Center in New Hampshire and other locations in Washington State. Her work is held in various private and corporate collections in Canada and the U.S.
