Growing up at the shore in South Jersey, Lori has always loved being outdoors whether it be spending long days on the beach or taking walks along the shoreline. Her original inspiration in the world of photography was the many wonderful shorebirds on the Jersey beaches. She loves to see the wonders of life through her camera lens.
Over the years Lori developed a love of birdwatching which was a perfect marriage with her passion for photography. She has traveled the world in order to see and photograph many wonderful birds and landscapes. In addition to her love of photography, Lori also paints - primarily watercolors.
While Loriís professional work has centered around the field of Human Resources & Management Consulting, her dream of being able to focus her career around photography and artwork is now coming nearer and nearer to reality.
In an effort to help the planet in it's 'go green' campaign, Lori tries to use recycled frames and materials whenever possible when artwork is ordered from her directly. Her additional artwork can be viewed at: www.artislifestudio.com
Lori and her husband Jeffrey Engle (take a look at his artwork posted on Fine Art America) live on Chincoteague Island in Virginia where life is simple and the world is their canvas.
