Born and raised in the Chicago area, Lorrisa has been winning awards for her artwork since 1998. The classical human figure is her favorite subject, and her love of history and the dramatic is evident in her predominantly chiaroscuro paintings.
Lorrisa's art is featured at the Brigantine Gallery in downtown Downers Grove, the Hinsdale Gallery of Hinsdale, Illinois, Balmain Art and Antiques in Nassau, Bahamas, and her paintings are a permanent installation at Sona Woodfire restaurant in Chicago.
Lorrisa’s other accomplishments include becoming a published playwright (Samuel French, Inc.) at age 16, and at 17 she became the youngest graduate of record with a B.A. from Columbia College Chicago in Film. She is married to a former Navy SEAL team member who’s her favorite work of art.
When she is not in commercials, films, or videogames including Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe and the soon-to-be-released Mortal Kombat 9, Lorrisa models for major companies, works in professional theatre, entertains at black tie events, and is a makeup artist. She is a proud member of AFTRA/SAG.
