Fractal Art is something very close to my soul. As the definition suggests and as Mandelbrot has discovered, nature is built on ordered chaos, from the perfect example of a Fern, to the more microscopic findings in oil, fractals are all around us, and all through us. Everything is comprised of fractals whether it be liquid's flow or society's seemingly predictable patterns.
My medium is digital by way of a freeware program called Apophysis. I use this program exclusively for my fractal art, and very seldom does any post work go into the images. Typically they will be enhanced with a border by means of Photoshop, the GIMP, or Inkscape unless otherwise noted.
I have been rendering fractal images for the past 8 years since the early days of Apophysis' inception and I don't plan on quitting any time soon. Aside from computers, it is my true passion, and I am always developing something, but it takes time and computer resources to render such images as they can take mere hours or days to complete.
