Lyndon Stokes –Bio
As the son of professional artists, Lyndon was exposed to art from the beginning, receiving ongoing instruction and encouragement throughout his formative years and beyond. An attention to detail from an early age evolved into a passion for Surrealism – this form of art holding a special attraction as a creative outlet for Lyndon’s vivid imagination. An enthusiasm for cars and automotive body styling is also evident in his paintings through the years.
While some of Lyndon’s works are seen in selected galleries, a lot of his time is spent completing commission paintings for private and corporate clients. Client’s cars have been a popular subject - being illustrated in both realistic and fantasy surroundings.
Lyndon’s paintings are held in private collections in New Zealand, Australia, USA and Canada. In the tradition of his parents, Lyndon’s art quest is a lifelong journey of learning and development.
