Although I have no formal training in photography, I have always enjoyed taking pictures. Photography has been a hobby for over 30 years: from the simplicity of a teleinstamatic camera, to learning the intricacies of the more challenging 35mm. I explored 35mm low light photography at Mardi Gras parades with my dad's old Argus camera which had no light attachment. Also used it on vacations, still getting by without any light attachment - the camera was so old an attachment could no longer be purchased for it, if it in deed was ever available. Later, I purchased a Yashica 35GSN and had the ability to use external lighting with it. Eventually I added an APS camera to the mix and in recent years have gone digital. I have truly enjoyed the advent of digital photography, although I went kicking and screaming into that era! I love having the ability to do my own photo editing. Before digital I had no real control over how the final image was processed. Being a creative person, I really enjoy using an assortment of filters to see what effect there is on the image before me. I hope you like the results as much as I have.
