Lighthouses
Lighthouses are one of my favorite things to photograph. This collection currently contains over 70 images. It includes many New England lighthouses, some from New York and New Jersey, and from Sweden and Iceland. I shot several Great Lake lighthouses on Lake Erie earlier this fall, so check back to see them soon. The gallery is organized so that in most cases you can see the different views of each lighthouse and location in order, although the first 15 or so are a variety to give you a sense of what I have. Here is a list of those so far: Cape Cod and the Islands: Chatham Lighthouse, Chatham MA Highland Light, North Truro, MA (aka Cape Cod Lighthouse) Nauset Lighthouse, Eastham MA Nobska Lighthouse, Woods Hole, Falmouth, MA Sankaty Head Lighthouse, Nantucket MA Brant Point Lighthouse, Nantucket MA (East Chop Lighthouse, Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard and others from the Cape coming soon) Rhode Island: Castle Hill Lighthouse, Newport RI Goat Island Lighthouse aka Newport Harbor Light Rose Island Lighthouse, Newport RI Point Judith Lighthouse, Narragansett RI Connecticut: Mystic Lighthouse, Mystic CT Ledge Lighthouse, New London CT Sheffield Island Light House, Norwalk CT New York: Tarrytown Lighthouse (aka Kingsland Point) on the Hudson River The Lighthouse, Roosevelt Island, NY on the East River Maine: Marshall Point Lighthouse, Port George, ME New Jersey: Sandy Hook Lighthouse Barnegat Lighthouse (Old Barney) Navasink Twin Lights (More to come) Iceland: Gotta Lighthouse Sweden: Vallersvik Fyr Ryssmasterna Fyr (More to come) Again, I have many more so shoot me an email mariannecampolongo at mac dot com with LIGHTHOUSES in the subject line if you are interested in a particular lighthouse, and I'll let you know if I have any photos of it available. As I also love to emulate old film and work with textures, creating several one of a kind images. if you see a style you like and would like me to approximate it with another lighthouse image, I am happy to consider it, and I'm also happy to advise you on the best papers and surfaces for the work you like, so shoot me an email mariannecampolongo at mac dot com. You can also use the FAA pixels email system which I check weekly - just put LIGHTHOUSES in all caps in the subject line. Thanks!
