Mario Pelser was born in South Africa in 1970 in a town called Pietersburg, now known as Polokwane. Mario was born into a family of which his mother was always doing something artistic. She inspired him with her work. His father taught him to do almost everything by hand. Mario embarked on his career in 1994 and made use of his raw talent to express his love for nature and art. He was raised for the majority of his childhood on a farm where he mostly spent his time secluded, observing wildlife in the bush.
His talent was also refined by reading books. However, nature itself has played the biggest role of inspiration in Mario's life, and his love for Africa and its animals. This can be seen very vividly in his wildlife artworks.
Quite often he will depict the animals or subjects, including their surroundings, as realistically as possible whilst enticing the viewer to make use of his/her imagination to see the hidden stories that have been portrayed.
Mario's talent for creating unique shapes and styles can be seen in his artwork. As he paints it is entirely unnoticeable to the observer that he has not pre-designed his art. He paints purely according to where his emotion and skill leads him, ergo the artwork evolves by itself into the unique masterpieces that you see before you.
Most of his works is being sent all over the world to countries such as the United States, Cyprus, Spain, Austria, Germany, Australia and many more. The popularity of his work, bolstered by its rare quality, conveys its authority as source for individually unique masterpieces.
Showing his appreciation to the source of his inspiration, he will also sometimes contribute parts of his income towards fund-raising. The appreciation and praise of his talents are contributed and dedicated to spreading the glory of God, acknowledging God as the Creator and the divine Architect of the universe.
Seen as a true investment in art, Mario’s work is fast becoming internationally sought after.
In Mario's own words, “I believe in what I am accomplishing with my artwork”.
Everyone that purchases one of Mario Pelser's masterpieces must know that they have not only bought a piece of art, but an investment.
