fine artist, marlene burns, offers an exciting, expressive, experimental and exceptional body of work! she doesn't like to categorize herself, but she paints with the intent of those in the abstract expressionist movement, who played with color, edgy design and mixed media to produce art that befit the process. she lives and works in tucson, arizona where she specializes in clients and interior designers who need custom artwork for luxury homes. she has exhibited her work for the past 20 years from california to new york, most notably in santa fe.
she is a double degreed professional artist, with both her bachelor's and master degrees from the university of cincinnati, school of design, art and architecture.
marlene loves working with the public, interacting with her clients and collectors. she feels that it is necessary for an artist to have verbal skills to match their visual skills.
