Born in 1980 in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA, I have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. In 1987 I won my first art contest in Cabot for best in show of my grade and that started me off being an artist. I attended college at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and received a bachelor's degree in Studio Art with emphasis in Painting and Graphic Design. When I began college I didn't pursue an art degree, but studied for a major in science and history. It's strange how I came back to art, but I'm glad I went down that path for a while. Since 2005 I have been painting professionally and being in group and solo exhibitions. I also enjoy helping local charities with my art and donations. I'm always inspired to make art and use new materials. Seeing other artists work and meeting them inspires me to try harder and think of different ways to express my art. Favorite subjects are people doing everyday things, old photos from the 1920's - 1950's, landscapes, everyday objects, religious stories and cityscenes capture my interest.
