Born in the Czech Republic, grown up in Holland, I have lived in the United Arab Emirates since the late seventies. The beautiful sunsets, the play of light and shadow in the UAE have always been a great source of inspiration for me. Most of my paintings reflect the 'Arabian Heritage' theme.
I enjoy working in different media, especially soft pastel and watercolour.
Since the 1990's my paintings have regularly been present in exhibitions. My work, aside from my own collection of original art work, includes commissioned work in watercolour and soft pastel. Some of my paintings are used to support charities, such as Al Noor School for Children with Special Needs in Dubai.
