About Me
I have been an artist all my life. I love using non traditional applications during the painting process. For the most part, I use a combination of oil, oil pastel, ink, gold pigment and gold leafing. I live in Connecticut with my better half Gene and two spoiled felines.
About My Work
My images are influenced by the wonderful world of Magic, myth, ancient legends & spiritual practices. For me it's almost an exploration of the mystery between folklore and faith. I believe that life is multidimensional and that there is always more than what we can actually see and I strive to do the same with my artwork. Many of my painting have images within images and aren't always noticeable at first glance.
I am a member of several art organizations including the Worldwide Women Artists Cooperative. My images have been published and are in corporate, private and international collections. Most recently, 'The Healing Heart' a book of poetry by Deborah Guzzi featured eight of my images. Her next book 'Heaven and Hell in a Nutshell' will be available this summer.
