My name is Maxine Bochnia, currently living in eastern Pennsylvania.
I have spent a lifetime with a camera hanging around my neck... enjoying the personal satisfaction of a memorable shot.. Eleven years ago I decided to incorporate my love of photography and the skills I had developed and started MFD/Digi-Art.
I was born and raised in the suburbs of NY. And in the '80s and 90's was extremely fortunate to spend many months touring in Europe, photographing landscapes, buildings, churches, people and more. I believe Italy was the country that most captured my imagination. All of those photographs were taken with a film camera, and have been adapted into digital imagery, so they can be offered for sale here on FAA.
I studied art at Boston University.
Taught music for over 25 years.
Became a private pilot at 40.
Produced 4 music CDs and a season worth of live performance shows for a fine singer.
And am currently finishing a novel I had begun writing a few years ago.
I am the proud Mom of two great kids, who are married and living lives that fulfill themselves.
