On September 05, 2005, art enthusiasts Juan Garcia and David Freire opened the doors to Metro Gallery's first art exhibit titled, 'Vistas De Soledad.' Opening Metro Gallery stems for a long-awaited interest in establishing a venue to promote art and culture from Los Angeles as well as other parts of the world. With a passion for discovering new talent, they have exhibited both local and international artists and enjoy working with the creative community.
'Los Angeles is a thriving city to live in. There are so many talented artists and so much exposure to international cultures, alike,' says Juan. 'David and I really were drawn to opening an art gallery because it is important to promote artists that have the power to expand people's minds, as well as educate about the diversity of our population. Art is an expression of life and culture.'
Juan Garcia holds a Master of Arts from Woodbury University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from California State University of Los Angeles.
