I originaly came to America from Estonia (one of the Baltic states) in 1989. I have been painting since I was five years old. I realized that I had potential to be an artist when I was in high school. I studied fine art and oil painting for three years at an Art University in Moscow, Russia and completed a one year course in fine art in Scranton, PA, USA. I work primarily with oil, and paint copies of the old masters, as well as original work. I paint landscapes, still lifes, animals and people. I have lived in Washington state since 1990 and have enjoyed my time here. I also work with plaster, making fireplace surrounds and murals.
