In May we celebrate a really interesting holiday. Cinco de Miko, not to be confused with Cinco de Mayo. To celebrate this holiday two things must occur: First you need to buy art from Miko, which is me.

Second, You must wear a masked wrestler costume and challenge people to a match in front of my art. The winner of the match shall have good fortune and much happiness for the rest of the year.

My name is Mike Savad, I create one of a kind creations. Photo realistic is what people think of first. There are many themes, flowers, porches, and local Suburban Scenes, some city, some urban. I also have many Job inspired images that cover quite a range of titles. If you're looking for a gift for your Pharmacist, Doctor, Dentist, Lawyer, Barber, Gardner, Fireman etc, there should be something there for you. These will look very nice hanging on your wall, or in a waiting room, even a hotel room. My art is inspired by Norman Rockwell and Paintings from the time of the Renaissance.

Be sure to join my E-Mail list, I send special promotional deals.

How Nostalgia Works

February 15th, 2013

It's funny how nostalgia works. Nostalgia is basically something old, that we see as a charming memory. But in order to qualify it has to be something we can identify with and something we can recognize. It also has to be a certain age to really ...
