We were like gypsies growing up in towns of one hundred and below. When we weren't moving, we were on the Rome, Oregon desert digging for snake skin agate with tablespoons; south of Twin Falls, Idaho picking up geodes; out of Jarbridge, Nevada hunting Topaz; out of Bliss, Idaho searching for fossils; outside of Marble, Arkansas in caves finding prehistoric pieces; or living in San Jose, California for the summer loading a bus to Salinas to pick strawberries. We three siblings thought all kids were out there crossing our path.
After six years active duty Army living four years in the beautiful Orient, I settled on the coast of southern California where I spent my life working with the Navy. I've now settled with Butch who has opened my doors to surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, biking, tent camping once-a-month, a Santa Barbara play once-a-month, riding Polly a seventeen year old warmblood, concerts at the Santa Barbara Bowl, or just sitting under the redwood and oak trees in the backyard after a barbecue.
Life has been kind. We would like to share our experiences with you in our travels with a camera.
