Currently living in Ventura Ca. after relocating from Austin TX. in August 2011. 'Love It' Perfect for creativity !
Passionate about working with pastels, watercolor, acrylic, creating abstract and contemporary works. Also love sculpting stone and clay.
Studied all forms of art at the Austin Museum of Art, Santa Barbara CC, worked with several mentors in painting and sculpture.
Have participated in shows and guilds in Austin, Palacios, Matagorta, Rockport, Houston, Clear Lake, Kemah TX. Santa Barbara ,Carpinteria CA.and presently working out of Bell Arts Factory in my studio #77
I am currently working with Pastels and find my creative energy is coming from sources developed from my varied experiences from travels all over this planet in many arenas and circumstances. Travels for pleasure, sailing the seven seas, historical journeys, spiritual quest and military experiences.
I am an Honorable Viet-Nam Veteran, serving in the combat zones in 1967/1968. I draw creative energy from these experiences too.
My business life had many wonderful adventures in many fields of interest and extensive travels. Working with Major corporations, Small businesses, Partnerships, and Self owned enterprises in Retail/Sales Management, Oil/Energy interest, Public Speaking, Education and training markets, Financial planning and Insurance sales and management.
