Creating (anything) has always been a part of my life. I hold true to the statement that 'art is not a thing, it is a way.' It's a way of expression, of communicating, and of emotion. The passions in reds, or oranges and the serene calm in a blue or green - all are methods, or ways, to communicate.

My photographs attempt to capture moments in time, where an emotion or feeling was felt. Likewise, my paintings attempt to convey these feelings as well. I often paint what I photograph, and likewise, photograph what I paint. It's all about capturing the visual expression that is found in life. I find it is a truly wonderful way to live.
